Product analysis RoHS directive 10 substance analysis
Report analysis results in as little as 4 business days! Analysis of the 10 substances of the RoHS directive is handled by Naito Environment.
The RoHS directive is a regulation that strictly limits the presence of specific hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment within the member states of the European Union (EU), due to concerns about their impact on human health and the environment. The products subject to this regulation include electrical and electronic equipment manufactured and sold within EU member states, as well as imported goods. The substances whose presence is restricted include four types of heavy metals: lead, mercury, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium, along with four substances used as flame retardants: polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), and phthalate esters, totaling ten substances. This regulation has been in effect in all EU member countries since July 1, 2006. Naito Environmental Management Co., Ltd. has established a system that can provide results within as short as four business days after the samples arrive, using precise analysis with various instruments. We have extensive experience in testing related to the RoHS directive even before its implementation in July 2006, and we have also obtained accreditation for the international standard ISO/IEC 17025.
